About
I am a transdisciplinary educator, scholar, and performer with a PhD in Interdisciplinary Theatre Studies, specializing in Theatre for Youth, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My dissertation, Alternative Dramaturgies in Contemporary Western European TYA explored the role of agency and empowerment within the role of Material Semiotics, Postdramatic Theatre, and parallax viewership. I am thrilled to have been a Next Generation Artist in Beijing and privileged to have created work across North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. I am proud to have worked as a facilitator with the Oakhill Prison Humanities Project and the UWC-ISAK Japan summer school in Karuizawa. I am currently working as a Visiting Instructor for Purdue University's Cornerstone Integrated Liberal Arts program.
